fuglv: Hey i was looking up manic panic hair dye and i saw the photo of you with the electric amethyst and it looks sooo good on you! So i was wondering did you have to bleach your hair to make it look that good or what colour was it before hand?! xo
it was box black beforehand, so i had to do multiple lightenings to get to the palest yellow possible. i destroyed my hair in the process. then, i used a silver/platinum toner to get it whitish. then used the manic panic. i’ve got purple haze in now because i have to let my hair relax before any more lightening. i did everything myself at home with stuff i bought at beauty supply stores, and had to order the dye from ebay because they don’t sell it in canada yet. i use argan oil now to help repair my hair, it’s working pretty well compared to all the leave-ins out there. hope that helps!
